Daniel qualified in 1999 and, for the past 15 years, has looked after thousands of patients in Newbury. With a special interest in dental implants, he is extremely experienced in both the placement and restoration side of this discipline and has to date place more than 2,000 implants. Daniel is known for his calm, reassuring manner and down-to-earth approach.
He particularly enjoys helping patients overcome dental anxiety, and welcomes complex and challenging cases.
Desi graduated in 2004 from the Dental Faculty of the Medical University of Plovdiv and moved to the UK in 2008.
Currently in her second year of an MSc in Implantology, she has also undertaken Invisalign training.
In her free time, Desi likes to read books, do tapestry and go for walks – though this doesn’t happen very often nowadays!

Associate Dentist
Catarina, a passionate dentist with over 15 years of experience, graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Porto in 2009, where she obtained her LMD. After practicing private dentistry for 6 years, she moved to the UK, where she’s continued to provide exceptional patient care and a full range of treatments. Driven by a dedication to oral health, Catarina pursued further education and in 2022, earned her Diploma degree with Distinction in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol. She practices private dentistry and, although she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, she has a special interest in oral surgery.
Beyond dentistry, Catarina cherishes spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, and enjoying nature walks.
Dimitar graduated as a master-dentist from the Medical University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2004. For several years he worked in the fully private practice that he and his wife had established. During this period, he attended many courses and hands-on programs until he established his areas of interest in dentistry-conservative cosmetic dentistry and endodontics (root canal treatments). These dental interests brought him and his family to the UK in 2008. He started as an associate dentist in a mixed practice in South Wales, where he spent 9m and relocated to West Berkshire. Since 2009 he has been working and living in Newbury. He kept mastering his skills in Conservative aesthetic dentistry by attending many courses including an Advanced aesthetic course at Eastman Dental Institute, London. In 2013 he enrolled at the University of Warwick and in 2016 attained an MSc (master’s degree) in Endodontics. In his last year at Warwick University he was the president of the Postgraduate students at the University.
He works at three different practices assisting them with their root canal cases. He sees internal but also external referrals.
In his spare time, Dimitar enjoys reading, walking, table tennis and food.
Tertius graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1985. He also obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry from Stellenbosch in 1995 and moved to the UK in 1999. He treated many patients over more than 20 years in Newbury. He also obtained a MSc in Implantology from Bristol University in 2014.
He has practiced dentistry on 4 different continents and travelled over 80 countries in the world which gives him a wealth of experience not only in dentistry but also huge knowledge and understanding of and respect for different cultures. He is truly a citizen of the world.
Apart form traveling he enjoys playing golf and holds a Level 3 Certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
Rebecca initially qualified as a dental nurse with a BTEC in science before gaining a place at Guy's Hospital, London to continue training as a dental hygienist and qualifying in 1994.
In 1996 she moved to Australia to continue working in Sydney in a periodontal practice, returning to the UK four years later.
She has worked in various private practices since and is currently living and working in the Newbury area.
I am a registered Dental Hygienist and joined WBH in 1999 after qualifying from Guys Dental Hospital, London.
I actively pursue continual professional development which keeps me up to date and enables me to deliver high quality care and expertise to all my patients. As a practising Dental Hygienist I am very conscious about my role in treating and caring for the complete dental health of all my patients.
I feel it is important to have a compassionate and empathetic approach to each patient of all ages and I am committed to make each appointment a positive and educational experience. Good communication is my key.
Working together with all my patients in a team spirit is a vital and important part of my strategy, where we can develop and explore personalised hygiene routines so as to achieve optimal oral health, whilst at the same time emphasising the importance of preventative care.

Irina has long been dedicated to caring for childrens and adults' teeth. In 1992 she obtained a dental degree in Novosbirsk, central Russia and followed this with a postgraduate studies in paediatric dentistry in 1993.
Irina moved to the UK in 2004, with her continuing love of working in dentistry and the desire to help create beautiful smiles.
Starting out as an orthodontic nurse she then progressed to be an orthodontic therapist, with a diploma from Warwick University in 2011. She has worked as an orthodontic therapist since early 2012.
